Petals of Hope

Pitch black.
Whispers intertwining amongst themselves
Packed luggage filled with thoughts ready to go
Fountains of resting voices trickling quietly down my back.
Instant silence.
A fresh breeze of blooming stars coats my face in grey mist
The crow snaps,
Ivory rivers diverge
Leaving a trail of pure essence behind.
Coconut fragments glazed with clarity
It was all here now.
Swans dancing across shimmering lakes
Of triumph
Their ebony feathers had flown away
Shaking the zephyr’s soft call.
