Philips’ Life

I met you at 19..
So many years ago.
God finally opened a window.
We walked through the door.
You will always be the man I knew.
So full of life , and common sense.
But during your golden years.
All our travel plans.
I turned away a second and saw a different man.
I look into your eyes now, and see you stare away.
The days are going slowly, I'm alone and pray.
So I thank God daily for the years past.
No person deserves this pain.
But in my soul I'll remember a great, brave man.
