Philophobia

He said whats going on in that intricate mind of yours ?
I responded hell very dryly
He pricked and probed wanting to know the depths of my sanity
In return I gave him silence

And how dare he want to dig me me out of my personal confinement ?
How dare he want to know my inner workings ?

Wait
Did I just try to question why a man wanted to know how I operated ?

That is when I knew I minimized myself to thinking I was not worth knowing fully

This Poems Story

My poem is about a woman who belittles herself as well as devalues her worth believing in her mind that she is not fully worthy of love or to be accepted as who she is.
