All it took was one spark to awaken the Phoenix.
As it took my home under its scorching wing, it also took my childhood.
I saw all of my memories drifting away in the ashes, one by one.
My world burned down into monochrome particles.

The bird I once thought was a symbol of absolute vigor
Was now my greatest enemy.
It stripped from my family, our accomplishments...
And made sure to set a match to my heart on the way out.

I refused to be envious of its power…
Because the fight between fire and ice
Was my fight now…
And I am ice, the cold and bitter foe of the almighty Phoenix.
