We're the tumbling dreams and the shallow waters
that hug the grounds of animosity.
We're the wishes upon forbidden stars,
defining the depths of curiosity.
We're the sunlight rising that dimly shines,
when the weary morning strives.
We're the hours that escaped the clutches of daybreak's fate,
who freed the clocks from time's lies.
We're the wise men knowing to hold their breath,
not the ignorant forgetting to breathe.
When the tides of life all rise and fall,
we're oceans in which the waves flow free.
We're the love of sorrow,
we're the fear of pain.
We're the prisoners who broke life's chains.
We're the words the lies hide,
and the wrong that's idolized.
We're the reasons you can't explain.
