Plague

By

Isolation,
Constantly.
The theme of,
Freedom,
Distantly.
The only time I see you,
You’re stuck in dreams,
As I dissociate.
I want to feel your warm embrace,
But the world is filled with sickness and hate.
Could it be apocalypse,
From the Bible,
Taught to me?
War, famine, death, and plague,
Riding across a crowded street,
Trying to buy necessities.
Our martyrs go by different names.
And who shall cast the dragon into flames?
Where is the lamb amongst these zombies?
From unity and love I must abstain.
