Plastic, and smog, and heat. Oh my!

By J

For this city never sleeps,
but how could it when the atmosphere weeps
for a cleaner sky,
but instead we wonder why
the earth grows hot,
and the flowers die in their pot,
and the winters never seem to die
as the president continues to lie
because global warming isn't real,
so I'll just make a meal
with the littered plastic.
Won't that taste fantastic?

This Poems Story

This poem is simply about global warming and pollution and how it is becoming more of an issue as you read this. Each year about 300 million tons of water bottles are produced and only 10% of that is recycled, leaving 38 billion water bottles in the sea harming sea life.
