Poem for Her

I don't want to fall asleep,
Because I know I'll dream of you.
Don't leave me in the dark,
Because the dark has bled through

My blood used to be bright red,
But is now Cimmerian Black.
Get it through my bloodstream.
You may never come back.

Get it through my head.
Feel it down my spine.
Breath it out my lungs.

What was once Love Red runs Torment Black.

Hope is here,
But Hope is Blue's.
Unfortunately, my bloodstream
Cannot transfuse the Use.

Don't forget me in your dreams tonight,
Because What Dreams May Come to me
Are of more delight.
