Poem of the Day
Each day I wrote, pouring my heart to those who would listen,
Gave all my emotions
It was quite an outlet, a way around words,
A place to talk, without forward talking.
It was a quiet outlet, only a few with access,
Only a few I deemed worthy.
Here I sit idle years later, attempting to make words flow;
Once again I'm not sure about my surroundings.
I've always been one who was outwardly strong
But inwardly broken.
The poem of the day may happen once in a life,
So remember each frigate is a ride we must take.
Walk worthy, walk tall, walk proud, do not fall.
Be strong in who you are, those may come you do love,
And sometimes they pass,
But remember there was a time when they weren't your
Poem of the day.
