Poems

Years passed by, not to our knowledge
From toddlers to teenagers, the journey
A look back at the ones we met by
The ones we lost, the ones we hated

Sorry for the mischief and horseplay
The brawls we haphazardly allayed
Indelible is the diligence you showed
For we'll remain compliant to your words

We've thrown our ego, torn our hatred
We've changed for we know the world
A kind of affection, a kind of warmth
Made us misty eyed at times

Hoping to have left behind some moments
Some memorable moments, we leave
Bidding adieu to our mentors and mates
To a new place, a new world, far flung.
