Poison

You're Poison, You run though my veins like an infection.
There is not antidote for you,
no cure for the sickness you injected in me.
You numb me with pain, freeze me with your toxin
I lay listless, incoherent to my surroundings blind to what I feel,
deaf to my own words
You're the sedative that knocks me out,
I'm under your influence, because you are a walking narcotic.
My thoughts are defective my body is detached.
I'm euphoric every time I hear you,
your words are like venom they bite me
and I feel the burn rush though my veins.
Your kisses are fatal, your touch is lethal.
I hate this feeling, I need to walk away, but your addicting.
But not this time,
I'm going to put you down like you did with me
and walk, not looking back.
You're Poison, You run though my veins like an infection.
