Poison Has More Than One Name

While your lips plotted the ins and outs of her curves,
mine kissed the mouth of a Jack Daniel's bottle
searching for the way your lips used to fit mine.

It only took three pulls before it started to taste like you:
smoke and honey
smoke that did nothing but suffocate
honey that did nothing but poison
