Political correctness

I don’t understand political correctness.
I don’t understand covering up the truth.
I don’t understand how some things that have always been there just suddenly start offending people.
Because if the truth of something is a horrible pill to swallow I would rather have that then the watered down one covered in a pile of sugar sprinkles.
Because if we keep censoring and censoring and censoring everything to make it neutral and not anger the person, I mean living being who sexually identifies as a ceiling fan, ipod or even attack helicopter, we might as well be mindless zombies.
I apologize I meant slower thinking living beings.

I don't enjoy how we have to make everything about life neutral. Especially nowadays.
