Political Prism

Blue red blue red blue
Or maybe just purple for you
Conservation or liberation
Divisive constellation

A tattered blue wardrobe in my freedman's bureau
Ragin Red eyed anger for an abolitionist hero
Abundance of ambiguity
Absence of humility

Idealistic blue was once red by far
Its now a primary because they both are
Red delicious of selfish George even till today
Tasteless berries of blue and grey beneath the southern soil lay

Tarry no more Tarry no more
Cast the vote upon the shore
No longer primary only bruised purple secondary with feather and tar
The liberation and conservation of independence is sub par

Please ladies please gentlemen cast your bucket down where you are
As I petition the heavens far beyond the brightest star
