When you can't go forward and you can't go back.
and you are not welcome in between.
When they view you as a parasite,
and humanity's nowhere to be seen.

When they cut you down without mercy,
blame you without good cause.
For fleeing their version of democracy,
and their genocidal wars.

Do they cease to be human,
is the colour of their skin.
So disagreeable to us the reason,
why we refuse to let them in.

Don't play politics with people's lives,
scrape-goat the destitute and the poor.
Look down from your ivory tower,
whilst capitalism is your whore.

What makes you more deserving,
than the beggar in the street.
The child born to poverty,
or the man who can't afford to eat.
