Growing up we are told what to do and what not to do
Whether or not something's right or wrong
Society defines us, it molds us
Determines who we are
We run from the grip of the voice of people
Struggling to let go, still holding on.
Only because we don't know what will happen if we don't
They control, they command us
They treat us as children but we are expected to act like adults
We are born young, we die old
These eyes have seen a lot
These eyes have lied a lot
This life I live, I am nothing but another pawn in their master game
People don't change, power changes people...
