Prayer of a Sincere Soul

God
Don't let me go where I should not go
Don't let me know what I should not know
Don't let me see what I should not see
Don't let me pluck the fruit of the forbidden tree
Don't let me do what is on my own
Don't let me be a shame for the Holy Crown
Don't let me obey to the voice of the evil spirit
Don't let me trap the place that You want me to sit
Don't let me fade to gray when I decide to pray
Don't let me say what my uncured tongue wants me to say
Don't let me resist to the grace You want to spread on me
Don't let me run away from the shape of humility
I acknowledge being the weakest person on earth
Feel like giving up for that printed stain on my shirt
Begging You to lead me to the path of blessing
By fighting my bad thoughts, enemy of my happy ending
I cannot deny how many times I scorn Your Faithfulness
Please my Savior, put Your strength in my weakness
Betrayed by a trusted world, all I need now is Your hallow
Don't let me move when the less violent winds blow
Hold my hands every time I try to fit the temptation's gloves
Help me to forget the past of the wrong way that I drove
One day I hope to sing,"No more shackles and bondage"
For You have enhanced me by living a new age
