Prayer of the Fallen

Let burning wind rush beneath my wings
And carry into light, divine.

Permit me to stay in eternal grace
And return the name which is rightly mine.

Forgive this, my fallen soul
And forget my ancient shame.

Forget my ruthless and sinful ways
And remember when I was pure and tame.

Though fire rests upon me now
And it pains me to confess.

Your punishment met my crimes
To never let my anguish rest.

I plea for salvation
So my soul may mend

I ask for your forgiveness lord.
Please heed my prayer, amen.
