Precipice Of Decay
no one sees
what I am
inside this shell
of a man
those dear
know my slights
they remain blind to
my darkest nights
forgotten dreams
surface in my head
voices screaming
to join them in death
I crawl into
another day
slowly I suffer
left in place
on the precipice
of decay
visions of hell
haunt my mind
their eyes can never
behold my sight
shallow waters
call my name
unto the void
where no longer
I wait
on the precipice
of decay
torment I hold
close to heart
their words
tear me apart
I am what
darkness wrought
when all hope
is lost
what I am
inside this shell
of a man
those dear
know my slights
they remain blind to
my darkest nights
forgotten dreams
surface in my head
voices screaming
to join them in death
I crawl into
another day
slowly I suffer
left in place
on the precipice
of decay
visions of hell
haunt my mind
their eyes can never
behold my sight
shallow waters
call my name
unto the void
where no longer
I wait
on the precipice
of decay
torment I hold
close to heart
their words
tear me apart
I am what
darkness wrought
when all hope
is lost
