“Preserve thyself in thine own heart”

Preserve thyself in thine own heart
Heed warning, yet keep steeled thyself
Reach out and into, hold fast in thy art
Temper thy soul against stained depravity's wealth
Slumbering unknown sealed in depths of thee
Providence's light burns within wanting life
Grasp thy soul enraptured for in free
Spite of stricken by yearning strife
Encompassing all of one's self to becoming
Brazen is he who knows when wrought
Fierce is she which kindness is stunning
For it be life! No better battle be four
Knowing thy self yet familiar with all
Best is the life that has passed its wall
