Pretend Love

What is up with this?
A razor blade french kiss.
How can you do this?
All my affections, you dismiss.

Cut your teeth on my hide.
Everything is not kosher.
The wound still hasn't dried.
No thought towards closure.

I love how you pretend to love me.
How you treat me like a child.
I love how you pretend to love me.
You know it drives me wild.

There comes a time when.
The table will be flipped.
What was once has been.
Is past due to slip.

Time to sleep someplace new.
Escape from your cave.
From someone I knew.
No choice left but misbehave.

I love how you pretend to love me.
How you treat me like a child.
I love how you pretend to love me.
You know it drives me wild.
