Priceless Jewel

The hurt and disappointment,
will soon fade away.
My frown turned around,
to smile, here to stay.

Who I thought was "the one,"
was just another lesson.
He played games with my heart,
and always left me guessing.

Now, that burden is lifted,
his baggage left behind.
It's now someone else's turn,
to be fed lie after lie.

My problem, he is no more,
I will not be a fool.
Close one chapter, open another,
I will always be a priceless jewel.
