In this world that tries to take all my rights
I feel torn down because I am not the same.
And look up to a God that fuels that fight
So I cry but then try to hide my shame.
I desire to fit in and not out
When I start to like her then I like him.
It can be so much that I have my doubts
But there is reason to say an amen.
Because when across the table is far
And when twelve hours apart is too long
I then see color from inside the car.
I know our great love is never a wrong.
So tonight I lay down and I feel pride
Because love is not something I must hide.
