Private Paradise

White sand rushed to meet her hands
She slipped under it, enveloped by an imaginary blanket
The sun warming her silky golden hair
Waves beside her quietly crashing against the shore
Running up and kissing her toes
Wind gently caressing her delicate skin
The blue hue of the sky reflecting in her eyes
And for a moment she was brought back to reality
His blue eyes staring back into hers, warm breath on her head
Her fingers tangled in his sandy brown hair
His hand grazed her cheek, caressing her skin
When they were together, it felt like home
It felt as peaceful as an ocean dream
Now warmed by the love they shared
It was her private paradise
