One day the sun won't shine like much before
I bear with me a task and lick my lips
For he believes he's the sapped the dawn its glow

He won't be contained in a box anymore
I carry with me a burden that stinks
One day the sun won't shine like much before

He takes a dagger from his arsenal
This plan was one I should maybe rethink
For he believes he's the sapped the dawn its glow

Waves mop the surface with a sudden flow
I hope it smothered nothing but the ship
One day the sun won't shine like much before

Drawn aback he gasps "My life had no toll"
Abandons all the dull missions, blood drips
For he believes he's the sapped the dawn its glow

The shadows are all yours for I've lost war
Maybe enlightenment was on the near brink
One day the sun won't shine like much before
For he believes he's the sapped the dawn its glow
