psychosomatic

memory is an echo shaped thing
a benign tumor
the size of a fist.
words too fragile to grasp and
too stubborn to break.

the future read in tea leaves
a story scattered plainly on dust.
if walls could talk
they’d scream your name -
generational muteness
cured.
