Puzzle

How do you find what you've lost to a person
If you've lost the you're trying to find it in?
So many bits strewn into countless depths
As though you're putting pieces of a black puzzle
Back together.
Innocence and wonder and an untarnished outlook -
Each one is an edge.
The big picture is outlined, but I will not be able
To appreciate the outcome without another color.
Each lost piece opens the picture to interpretation -
A puzzle only one who has not been shrouded
By real world nonsense could appreciate fully.
