Quarantine

I have learned that I have really good friends.

I have learned that with enough quiet time, regrets will come back to haunt you.

I have learned that I don’t mind loneliness.

I have gotten to know my demons and have got used to them coming by.

I have learned that ‘not enough time’ is not a real thing. If you want to do something bad enough, you will do it. Excuses are the calming that we give to ourselves when we are scared.

I have battled anxiety and won.

I have battled depression and won.

I have gone to the depths of bewilderment and the heights of monotony.

I have battled confusion.

I have wrestled time

I have been present

I have been lost

And I have been me.
