Quarantine From Covid 19.

As frightening times embraced our lives,
I pray for hope to get me by.
A chance to heal and be strong again,
For a new beginning, I trust to regain.

My guitarist friend, called me just the other day.
Him and his wife got very ill, with this flu strain.
Feeling so sad for both of them, tears kept
Running down my cheeks, like October rain.
We had just gotten together, to record new songs.
It dawned on me, feeling an essence of concerned in my soul.
All of the sudden I fell apart, touched by the power,
Of these trying hard times.
We were all quarantined for weeks and weeks,
I saw my freedom slip away indefinitely.
I asked myself is the world coming to an end?
I really don’t want to die my friend.
For my family, for myself.

In the midst of all the confusion, couldn't find any conclusion.
Unanswered questions remained unexplained.
I wear a mask, I wash my hands, put on gloves,
Stay 6 feet away.
Just wanted to close my eyes and make it all go away.
No more new cases, no more senseless death.
A new rebirth free of disease, for a healthy WORLD once again.
