Quarantine

Quarantine.

Lock yourself away.

I've never seen so much devastating sickness

on such a lovely day.

It quietly seeps in .

Spreading to your heart.

When you feel the tears come falling

It's a message beyond the stars.

Stow away your children

In the chambers of your heart.

They're all holding lanterns

to help the sickness

see at dark.

Silent ,

nail driven horrors

pierce the

sound inside your dreams.

Love is the strangest beast.

On your soul ,

it longs to feast.

The children can't stand the blind.

They need the light ,

their eyes wet.

If it's a white hot soul they want ,

It's a black heart they'll get.

This Poems Story

It's about how sometimes love can be dangerous . Especially if it's with the wrong person. Also , it's about knowing when to back off and keep your gaurd up for your own self protection.
