Queen Africa

Smile once and again the Kenyan way,
the African laugh, the cradle of our culture,
and our pride of pure enthusiasm,
and heritage with togetherness,
and harmony amongst us,
The vigor and liquor,
the foods to wines,
that we drink,
to celebrate,
my continent, my heritage,
and our blood and pigment,
that joins,
a woman in Gabon,
a father in Egypt,
and me in Kenya,
a raindrop,
we shall share,
in love,
without killings,
and no feelings,
but happiness
from sports,
to poetry,
of culture,
with my Queen Africa.
