Questions I Ask Myself

What are you so fucking afraid of,
that you barely can speak?
Everyone is walking around you
and you're a weak centerpiece.
Why can you not move?
Why can you not breathe?
It shouldn't be this hard
to live normally.
You know you are not perfect,
so what are you fighting for?
Pretending that you're alright
is your greatest war.
In which way does wearing a mask even save you?
Still refusing to break,
but does it ever do?
You're a piss-poor example of staying silent.
You've got to escape from the hell
that binds your mind in the violence.
