Questions Live in Your Pupils

When you look at your reflection directly in the mirror
You want to shake the glass
To break it
To understand what looks back at you
Because you don't know who you are
You wish to destroy it
Because you see their reflections behind your shoulders
The voices grow louder and louder
Faster and faster
Loud, fast, loud, fast
And then all of a sudden
You'll scream louder than you ever have
But as you do
It'll be the first time you hear quiet
The first time you'll look directly at your reflection
And know who you are.
