Rachael

You are a tangled strand of silk,
A fragrant mass of twisted sheets
The cream colored expanse of beaded skin
The shadow swaying on my pristine wall

You are beautiful maternity
You are transcendent girlhood

A honey soaked suggestion
Trembling fingers
An unanswered prospect

You are a stream of discarded calls
You are wordless, resigned departure
You are radiance bruised

I know what I did

I did this

You are Sapphic Eden spiraling down the drain
