Racing Stripes

A checkered flag
In my prescient dreams
Before I reach for the accelerator;
The roar of the imaginary crowd
Floods my senses
As I brake to a sudden stop
In response to the car ahead of me;
And I'll never forget the playback clip
When I reviewed the accident
That totaled by baby
And retired my racing stripes.
Believe it!
