Radiance of Faith

Shadows in the morrow,
Fall graciously on the fallow,
Angels omnipresent in the mist,
Add beauty to everything in a gist,
Light sunshine falling on my pupils,
Power of pupils dilated,
I bowed at the altar in reverence,
Tears of unfed hope flowed endlessly,
My tears faded and so my despair did,
Something from within,
Extraordinarily radiant,
Silent yet spoke volumes,
A mellifluous voice whispered,
"Come follow me, my child",
There must be least pain,
But most to gain,It said,
"I forgive you for what you've done",
A feeling never experienced before,
Love so reassuring,
The voice whispered again,
"I will love you always, I shall be your protector",
The most divine of all,
The truest of all,
Definitely not human,
Who else could it be?
