Raging river

Raging river from shallow falls
carves a gully amidst the banks
eroding sullen earth's gauntlet
squeezing it between twisted ranks
plunging into the dark abyss
tumbling over the rocky planks
through blackness only they can see
dashing into their den so dank
one can barely hear fallen splashes
a faucet from which druids drank
as nature's fjord rages high above
below is where cursed diviners sank.
