Railroad Tracks

Railroad tracks
She walks back and forth
Over and over
Just to get some time alone
She thinks
She thinks too much
She’s trying to find some meaning
By over-analyzing and doubting
Can she even face death?
Railroad tracks
Take me away
Her soul speaks
Over and over
She walks all alone
But there’s no train horn
Because the city cut off use to those tracks a long time ago
She still walks
All alone in her woes
Railroad tracks
Her only friend
Abandoned forever
Except for one female
Who goes there all the time to think about her death
