Rain Dance

The sky slowly darkens
Trees begin their soft sway
Wind blows soft kisses
Chimes chime their soft song
A small, wet drop upon my cheek
A single drop becomes a drizzle
My hair whips in the breeze
It's peaceful
Alone in the rain
A light fog rolls in
The mood is set
I begin to dance
My face raised toward the sky
Arms stretched from my sides
Spinning and singing under the stars
Not a care in the world
The best feeling I've ever had
The rain ends and so does the moment
And I step away into the night
