Rainbow

Clouds collide in the sky above,
and droplets form, then get a shove,
as light is refracted in the fine mist,
a rainbow gives the earth a tender kiss.

Reds, greens, yellow and blues,
it so pretty to see these delicate hues,
over the years many a folk have been told,
at the end of a rainbow lies a pot of gold,

After the beautiful refreshing summers rain,
do you really remember my name,
I really do hope so,
as you remind me of a colourful rainbow.
