Rainbows

Rainbows

The beauty of a rainbow only exists
Because of the colors it has on its list!

If it had only the color of one,
We wouldn't stare, because it wouldn't stun.

And could you imagine if tastes didn't vary?
If bananas tasted like fresh picked blueberries?

Or if you took a bite of a yummy grilled steak,
And thought you were chewing a chocolate milkshake?

There's a reason the world gives us such charming choices,
Differing colors and plenty of voices.

Like the sound of a cow or the rooster at dawn.
The same ol' noise would make all of us yawn.

Embracing variety shouldn't be so tough,
We can do it with all kinds of other stuff.

But, when humans are viewing their very own kind,
They should ponder these thoughts and keep this in mind!

Earth has a mixture of texture and spice,
So open your minds, and be extra nice.

Our true colors always come from within,
Are YOU a rainbow, or do you have monotone "skin?"
