Raindrops on the windowsill

By

Can you see them through the haze
Or hear them as they phase
In and out of existence?
A sign of their insignificance

Just raindrops on the windowsill

At first glance it may seem bizarre
To see so many so close yet so far
Just like a drizzle on the window
Straining against an unwavering limbo

Just raindrops on the windowsill

Thinking of everyone in their cell
And that for some it’s a living hell
I do not waver for I remember
That in the the end, we all are

Insignificant
Just raindrops on the windowsill
