Rainy Days
I look forward to rainy days
It reminds me that the sun will be back
With that in mind, I know I'll be all right
So I let go of my sadness and just smile
Life will always have its good days and its bad
Whether you’re a kid hearing your parents fight
Going through your first heart break
Or down on your luck as an adult
As a child nothing is worse than a parents fight
Mommy and daddy are fighting, something crashes
Sunrise comes and they’re kissing goodbye
You and your older brother smile knowing its ok
Heartbreak is always painful, seems never-ending
The first is by far the worst, most unforgettable
Crying over everything-songs, movies, places and rainy days
Then one day you wake up to find you’re healing
You don’t always get everything you want
Because life just doesn’t always work out
Sometimes you lose family, friends, jobs, or more
Remind yourself you were given another chance today
Use today to fix yourself or something around you
If it’s a rainy day with no sun in sight
Pray, and thank God for what you have and have had
And when the sun does come out, smile and start again

Just comparing different stages of life with certain unease and how we deal with them. It's not always so black and white, a lot of times it's grey, and everyone is different. So,times its easier to just try to remember how to smile, even when it's too hard to do so.
