Rainy Daze
Rain soothes me -
grey, gloomy, cloud soaked skies.
So introspective -
water appears from thin air.
Clouds push down on me with cotton ball fists –
driving me closer to the ground from celestial heights
Even amongst the wet,
I feel warm, comforted –
by the covers of the clouds.
Still cooling me with moisture.
A grey-eyed rainbow, shades of black and white –
promising a tomorrow.
grey, gloomy, cloud soaked skies.
