Rawinbow Song

Wind murmurs, it is time
Shades of grey in fields adrift
While heat sits in my blood like wine

Trees sway, sky weeps
Scent of land fills the air
The ground is tempered
Tamed by the tears of the earth
Dew drops fall under leaves
And flows beneath the soil in thirst
Flowers bend with blades of grass
As they wait so eagerly
For the coming of the sun
Whose very lips are trimmed with gold
The dusk sparkles with a faithful kiss

I will not meet the deadened hour
For my soul leaps in ecstasy
And unrestrained delight
In this magical affair
With color and light
