Read Again

I'm not averse to verse,
Inversely I oppose
All those whose creed is that we need
To spend our lives in prose.
Because it's "rhyme and reason"
There's no reason without rhyme.
This world you see is poetry
Inscribed by the Divine.
That's why it's called the Universe
This place that we call home,
And we are all but syllables
Within the Poet's poem.
Our days, like poems, all have an end;
I pray, like poems, they're read again.
