What happens,
When love is calling...Ready,
And is knocking on your door,
Do you close the blinds,
And pretend like you're not home,
Hesitant of the past,
Cautious of what love caused before
When your head says you're ready,
But your heart says slow your slow.
Mind made up,
You've already been down this road,
He's just like the others
Its best to just leave him alone,
But he just wants a chance,
Hoping that you'll open the door,
Wants to put a ring on it,
And make your house a home,
Wants to call you his wife,
Have a couple of kids to call your own,
Reminds you that he'll be there,
Can't be judged by what happened before,
He wants to make you smile
Because you make him happier
He wants to rewrite the book
Start a new chapter
She likes what she's hearing
He wants to tell her more
She's peeping through the peephole
Ready to open the door.
