Tinted, changed with fading edges
Stories swirling in closed eyes
Moments placed into cages
Bold when they realize

Dreams that refute reality
Seem to fade from memory
Throw away the thought of sanity
Pinned to pages of your own story

Pieces, fragments and fractures of thought
Not contained in the mind
As the brain gets caught
Wandering as it wonders what it could find

Dark, light with the slivers it deems
Moments thought, seem to change
Nothing is as it seems
And reality likes to rearrange

Forget and leave
And the mind will cease to grieve
Remember and stay
Find that reality soon fades away
