Reality’s Laughter

By

I was just another child laughing out loud,
watching the clowns under the circus shroud.
With their painted faces and eternal smiles,
forever laughing through their trials.
Merely a boy believing what I saw,
proceeding towards the the exit door.
Just before I could turn the knob,
I heard sounds of a sincere sob,
Thinking to myself who can this be!?
contradicting the halls of comedy!!?
When I saw his face it took me to the place,
that opened the door to reality!!!
