Rebel

If I ever go insane
I wish not to die by suicide.
Can't leave the world
With all the pain still by my side.
Can't let them live in peace
People, who gave me away, to be the
darkness's bride.

I wanna challenge their sanity
with my so called insanity.
By defying the rules they've set
By denying the norms I must've met
By embracing the darkness I've been fed
By showing that suffering isn't always red
I wanna question their charity
Are they sure it wasn't a way to express their grandiosity?

I won't let them take pride
In controlling others lives,
making them dead inside.
I won't succumb to the set up
I won't embrace a death undignified
Oh! I won't die of suicide.
